Rockfest

First, I'm going to say that the U2 movie-U23D-was awesome. The cameras got really close. Plus, it was on an imax screen, so there were a few times that Bono's eyes were like 20 feet across. It wasn't anywhere near as long as a full concert, though. This was 11 of the songs from their 2005 Argentina concert, while a full concert is 21 songs. But, back to the title. This summer, Rockfest has Disturbed, DragonForce, Mastodon, and Slipknot on the main stage. And-they're coming to Caddott, Wisconsin. If I can get ticks, I'm going. It is going to ROCK!

Music

I just found out a bunch of new stuff relating to my favorite bands. First, the Foo Fighters already have some songs written and ready to record for a new album once they're done touring. Second, they are performing next wednesday at the Target Center with Serj Tankian. Also, I found out that U2 is working on a new album. Plus, me and my friend are going to see they're concert movie this weekend!

Tuesday

Hi. I swear, I'm really mad. I had reahearsal today for the Wizard of Oz. Along with being Uncle Henry, I am also a Winkie(Witch's Soldiers). So, I looked at my rehearsal calender, and it listed "Winkies, 2:45-4:30. So, I went to rehearsal. Some of the other people called were munchkins, Emerald Citizens, and monkeys. Chaigne (the director) went over some stuff for all of them, and at 4:30, she said, "Unless you are a munchkin, you can leave." WTF!! So, I go out to the lobby, call my brother and ask him to pick me up. He said that he would come, but he doesn't show up for another hour. So I come home, eat some dinner, and my dad tells me that I had a basketball practice that I didn't know about. So my tuesday pretty much sucked.

Hi, I'm Jon. I live in the twin cities. I'm going to tell you a few things about me. I love music. I have 48 CDs, 2 guitars, and an alto sax. I listen to music all the time. I also really like basketball. I have been playing for the past four years. My teams record this year is like 7-4, so we're doing pretty good. I also love acting. I was in my school's fall play, The Orphan Train, and I am Uncle Henry in our spring musical-The Wizard of Oz. So, that's just a few things about me.
